December 28, 1979 (39 years old), Detroit, Michigan, born in a family of magicians, surrounded by exceptional talent, Marvin Winans Jr., son of gospel greats Marvin and Vickie Winans, and nephew of BeBe and CeCe Winans
Starting at age 18, Marvin signed a major record deal with Epic Records with his cousins as a group, Winans Phase 2. After selling a quarter of albums and being nominated for a Grammy Award at age 19, Marvin. It can be embarked on a vision for a comprehensive entertainment company, an M2 Entertainment, which is inspired to be inspired to build.
Marvin quickly signed a number of producers, writers and artists to his M2 label, all at the age of 21. Several of whom have been very successful in the music industry. As CEO, Marvin was in a position not just of artist, producer and producer. As a producer and writer, Marvin's work would be nominated for several awards including Grammy, Stellar Awards, Dove Awards and more. After much success in Winans Phase 2, traveling and singing around the world, including Germany, England and Holland, even with a special participation in the Oprah Winfrey Show, the group, several times, solves their relationship with an epic, Marvin worked in his own solo project, Image of a Man, who in 2007 released, on his own, an M2 Entertainment label.
Marvin's album found success with the distribution in the Walmarts chains and the target across the country and Marvin was exactly where he wanted to be. The release of his single "You Never Me Down" from this album was groundbreaking and was complemented by an award-winning, highly cinematic and cinematic music video. This video defined him as a trendsetter and as the video producer on his own, preparing him for his next show, the film producer.
In 2010, Marvin and Joel Kapity, Marvin's director, "You Never Disappointed Me," came together to create a movie entitled Dreams, in which Marvin wore many hats; including, executive producer, producer and, for the first time, film composer. For Marvin, a Dream, which was distributed by Lions Gate Films, was a lesson in "movies of everything" from entry to the music business.
