Niyoki - Rest - 2008

Niyoki White, is a contemporary gospel singer / songwriter and R & B singer from Fort Wayne, Indiana. She began early as a career musician, playing with her parents and siblings since the age of five as part of the Evangelical White Family group. After high school, Niyoki left the group to study chemical engineering at the University of Tennessee and formed the R & B Milenia group with his sisters. This project led to opportunities to open and sing backing vocals for none other than Prince on his Hit-Run tour in 2000-2001. They also performed on their album The Rainbow Children before releasing their only LP, Our Story, in 2005. It included the song "Promise," which Prince produced.
My Everything After temporarily moving to Nashville, Tennessee, Niyoki's solo debut, My Everything, was released in 2005 by D2G Records in partnership with the Executive Music Group. Reaching the number 32 on Billboard's Gospel album chart, he presented the single "He's Here", which became the Top Ten gospel hit. The same record companies released their second album, Rest, from 2008, which reached number 50 and included the Top 15 Gospel song "Joy." Niyoki then returned to Fort Wayne and joined the Uncle G Records chart before beginning work on her third studio album. It came out with the single "Praise Him in My Pain" in 2015
