Edletha Lorraine McClendon (born October 17, 1975, who serves as the stage name Lisa McClendon, is an American artist of Jazz Soul gospel and her updated sound has attracted comparisons with artists such as Norah Jones and Lauryn Hill.First born in Jacksonville, McClendon joined the female urban group 3N1 shortly after graduating from high school, and ended up touring with them in the southeastern US She made her solo debut in 2002 with her acclaimed My Diary, Your Life on Shabach Entertainment. of the Integrity Gospel label of Mobile, AL, and the singer signed with Integrity, releasing the impressive Soul Music in 2003. A third album, Live from the House of Blues recorded in New Orleans, appeared in Integrity Gospel in 2006 in 2009 , Reality, and this album on the Gospel Albums chart.In 2015, she released the highly anticipated album 5AM, The Sound of Waking up to Him.
