Travis Greene - Crossover Live From Music City - 2017

Contemporary Christian and gospel artist Travis Greene -- a rawly expressive singer and songwriter who incorporates several genres into his sound -- was first driven to express himself through music as a youngster, following the death of his father. He had a brush with his own mortality as a child and was pronounced dead after a fall from the fourth floor of a building in Germany. In addition to developing as a musician, Greene worked as a youth pastor and worship director. His debut, The More, was released in 2007 on his own Greenelight label. Greater strides were made with the 2010 album Stretching Out, released on Pendulum. Two singles from it, "Prove My Love" and "Still Here," hit Billboard's Hot Gospel Songs chart. "Intentional" was released in 2015 as the lead single to Greene's third album, The Hill, his first for RCA Inspiration. Well recieved, it peaked at number one on Billboard's Top Gospel Albums chart and garnered Greene seven awards at the 2017 Stellar Gospel Music Awards. On the heels of those accolades, he returned with his fourth album, Crossover: Live from Music City, featuring the single, "You Waited."

Todd Galberth - Decrease - 2017

Todd Galberth is a gospel singer and worship leader originally from Raeford, North Carolina. He was raised singing in church and had his first experiences as a devotional leader while still in his mid-teens. Also an actor, he appeared in several regional theater productions after high school, and in 2006, he self-released the gospel album Private Chambers, a set of original songs that he wrote for a play of the same name.

Galberth eventually settled in as worship pastor at Redemption, a church in Greenville, South Carolina. It was there that he recorded "Lord You Are Good," a part-spoken testimony that hit the Billboard gospel songs chart and became a Gospel Digital Song Sales number one in the fall of 2016.

Psalmist Raine - To Abba - 2017

Gospel artist Psalmist Raine has been using her gift as a vocalist since childhood, first appearing at the age of six on Chicago's Isabelle Joseph Johnson weekly Sunday morning radio show, then a couple of years later on Gatling's Radio program. A lifelong Chicagoan, Raine continued singing in church and community choirs throughout her school days and during her time at Louisiana's Grambling State University. As she became more involved with the gospel music industry she worked with a variety of singers and teachers like LeCresia Campbell, Lonnie Hunter, and Cynthia Nunn, and toured and performed as a member of the Emmett Till Players. She also began developing as a solo performer and songwriter, and in 2013 released her debut album, Believe Again: The Live Experience. Nominated for a Chicago Gospel Music Award, the album put her on the map and set up her next release, 2016's dynamic ReFresh Worship Live from her own ReFresh Worship Institute. A unique worship experience, ReFresh Worship Live was recorded at Chicagoland Christian Center Embassy and, aside from the opening song, was almost entirely improvised. Raine's third release, 2017's To Abba, followed a similar design with its spontaneous worship music

Phil Travel - Worship Offering - 2017

Phil Tarver is a contemporary gospel musician and pastor based in Chicago. After spending several years singing for Michael Houston & Ministre, and recording with groups such as Shekinah Glory Ministry and Walt Whitman & the Soul Children of Chicago, he made his solo debut with Draw Nearer on Kingdom Records in 2007. The live worship LP reached number 14 on Billboard's Gospel Albums chart and produced the Top 20 gospel hit "Better Than That." He followed it a year later with the studio LP Be Pleased on the same label. Tarver climbed to number four on the Hot Gospel Albums chart with 2010's Place of Worship, which was released on audio and video formats. "God Is Able" returned him to the gospel songs Top 20. His fourth full-length, Sweet Spirit, followed in 2012. Continuing to sing in conjunction with pastoring, he was with Illinois' United Faith Center Ministries International when he performed in Liberia in 2017.

Le'Andria Johnson - Bigger Than Me - 2017

Gospel and praise & worship singer Le'Andria Johnson's journey to a recording career almost ran like the plot for a made-for-TV movie of the week as she overcame obstacles, hardships, and personal disasters to get there. Born on January 23, 1983, Johnson was the twice-divorced single mother of three children when she fell on hard times, losing her home to foreclosure the day before a friend convinced her to drive to New Orleans in a borrowed car to audition for the cable TV show Sunday Best. The daughter of a preacher, Johnson had sung in front of her father's congregations since she was two years old, but she had hardly considered a professional career as a gospel singer. She arrived at the TV audition with little time to spare, and wearing flip flops and the clothes she drove there in, she was amazed to be selected as a contestant. Johnson ended up being declared the winner at the end of the show's third season in 2010, a placing that not only came with the gift of a new car and a cash prize, but also, in time, a recording deal through the show's newly formed Sunday Best imprint under the Music World Gospel label umbrella. A debut seven-song EP, The Awakening of Le'Andria Johnson, was released in 2011, followed by a second seven-song EP, The Evolution of Le'Andria Johnson, in 2012. The two EPs were then combined in 2012 to make a full album, titled The Awakening of Le'Andria Johnson Deluxe. A second full-length, the live The Experience, also appeared in 2012. During 2015, she appeared on the Oxygen reality TV series Preachers of Atlanta, a spin-off of their hit show Preachers of L.A. She returned with her second album, Bigger Than Me, two years later.

Darnell Davis & The Remnant - Live Again -2017

Minneapolis-based gospel and praise & worship ensemble Darnell Davis & the Remnant began as six friends who liked to sing together but, behind F. Darnell Davis' songwriting and production skills, grew into an incredibly versatile choir of 15 vocalists and an intact, five-piece band. Davis, who has written spiritual-based songs for artists and groups like Sounds of Blackness, Wayman Tisdale, and Ricky Dillard, and is an accomplished arranger, producer, and worship leader on his own, has guided the group through its albums, including Psalms of the Remnant, No Compromise, Refocused, and Moving Forward, which appeared in 2014 after the group had signed with RCA Records. By the time he released Live Again in August 2017, Davis had left RCA; the album was an independent release.

Jamie Grace - 91 - 2017

Atlanta, Georgia's Jamie Grace, a Christian singer, songwriter, rapper, multi-instrumentalist (guitar, piano, ukulele, drums), and occasional actress, was born November 25, 1991. While she always had an affinity for music as she was growing up, she turned to it in earnest when she was diagnosed with Tourette syndrome in 2003 at age 11. Mixing folk, country, hip-hop, and reggae into a sunny, hopeful style somewhat reminiscent of a CCM version of Colbie Caillat, Grace began posting versions of her doing cover songs and originals on YouTube. She was discovered there by tobyMac, who signed her to his Gotee record label in 2009 when she was 19 years old.

Hold Me A debut single and EP, both entitled Hold Me, appeared early in 2011, and a full-length album, One Song at a Time, arrived later that same year. She also released a second EP, Christmas Together, in 2011. By 2014 Grace had readied her second full album, Ready to Fly, produced by Chuck Butler, David Garcia, and Christopher Stevens. Receiving strong reviews, it became her first album to peak inside the Top 40 of the album charts. Grace released a holiday album called The Christmas Collection in 2016, then issued the studio set '91 in 2017.

Anthony Brown & group therAPy - A Long Way From Sunday - 2017

After spending some fruitful years in the background, songwriter, arranger, and background vocalist Anthony Brown stepped forward in 2012 with Anthony Brown & group therAPy. The strange capitalization refers to the group's beginnings in 2000, when the Maryland native launched the group Answered Prayers to showcase his songwriting. As Brown's work played a role in hit gospel albums like Maurette Brown-Clark's The Dream (2007) and Stephen A. Hurd's Times of Refreshing (2009), Answered Prayers evolved into group therAPy. Performances on three of BET's annual Celebration of Gospel specials -- in 2006, 2007, and 2012 -- preceded their self-titled 2012 debut. Released by Tyscot Records, the album featured guest appearances from Maurette Brown Clark and VaShawn Mitchell. In 2015 they returned with Everyday Jesus. It topped Billboard's gospel albums chart, while the single "Worth" reached the top of the gospel songs chart. A Long Way from Sunday followed in 2017 and became Brown and the group's second number one full-length.

Ayiesha Woods - The Runway Project - 2017

Ayiesha Woods was born in Long Island, NY, on July 2, 1979, but grew up in several locations including Florida, Georgia, Texas, Hawaii and Bermuda, What You Do to Me in 2004, and a song from that album, Crazy "was heard on a local radio by former DC Talk member Toby McKeehan on a visit to Jamaica. McKeehan sought Woods on his return to the United States. She released two studio albums in Gotee: Introducing Ayiesha Woods (2006) and Love Like This (2008). Woods is known for the "Happy" and "Big Enough" hits from his debut album.
Ayiesha Woods released an independent 2004 album, What You Do to Me, and received three Gospel Music Marlin Awards that year, including "New Artist of the Year." His Grammy-nominated debut album, Introducing Ayiesha Woods, was released in June 2006. The single from the album "Happy" gained popularity on Christian radio in the US, and Woods received a Dove nomination in 2007

Origin Memphis, Tennessee, is an American gospel musician and music producer, as well as a Christian R & B, Christian hip hop, urban gospel and artist and black gospel recording singer. He started his musical career in 1999 with an independent album. His first studio album, Days of My Life, which was released by EMI Gospel. His only hip-hop album, Bible Megamix, was released by Anshar Forever Records in 2009. The only extended piece, Welcome Home, a contemporary work of R & B, was released by Madison Line in 2014. It won two GMA Dove Awards, one for his compositions and another for his music production work.
