Anthony Charles Williams II (born May 16, 1975 in San Diego, California), better known by his stage name Tonéx is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, rapper, dancer, producer, preacher. He has several nicknames among them T.Bizzy, The Black Maverick, T'Boy, O'ryn, Pastor N8ion, ACW2, Brian Slade, B. Slade but he is better known as Tonx or Ton3x. Tonex has released hundreds of songs on 24 albums over a 15-year period in activity. He won six Stellar awards, a GMA award, and received two Grammy nominations: Best Gospel Soul Album for his 2004 album, Out The Box and another in 2009 Best Urban / Alternative Performance Soul with their single, Blend, from their mastery in the album, Unspoken. He is known for recordings of Gospel hits, but his musical genre is known for mixing styles such as R & B, Jazz, Soul, Funk, Hip Hop, Rock, Latin, Electro, Punk and Trance, among others.
