Yolanda Adams (Houston, August 27, 1961) is an American radio broadcaster and gospel music singer. It has already been awarded the Grammy and the Dove Awards.
In September 2009, Yolanda had sold more than 4.5 million albums since 1991, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Yolanda Adams was born and raised in Houston. She was the eldest of six brothers and graduated from Sterling High School in 1979. On December 11, 2009, Billboard Magazine named her the first gospel artist of the last decade. On the same chart, his album "Mountain High ... Vale Low" was recognized as the best gospel album.
