Dawkins & Dawkins - From Now On - 2011

Brothers Anson and Eric Dawkins began their gospel performing careers as children, teaming with their mother in a trio that appeared at revivals headlined by their father, a Pentecostal preacher. As teens, Eric also learned piano, while Anson studied drums and trumpet; they both ultimately joined the band Commissioned before breaking away as Dawkins & Dawkins in 1992, signing to the Benson label to record their self-titled debut LP, a fusion of contemporary gospel with overtones of rap and R&B. Necessary Measures followed in 1994, and after a lengthy hiatus that saw the brothers pursuing production, songwriting and even acting projects, Dawkins & Dawkins returned in 1998 with Focus.

Karen Clark Sheard - Destined To Win - 2015

As a member of the Clark Sisters, Karen Clark-Sheard was one of the most popular contemporary evangelical groups of the 1980s and 1990s. She began singing with the group at the age of seven and stayed with them for years until she started a career solo album in 1997. The album was produced by Donald Lawrence, James Moss and Stanley Brown. and featured large portions recorded live in Detroit with the Tri-City Singers. A success on the gospel and R & B charts. Finally Karen was nominated for a Grammy and Clark-Sheard spent the next few years on tour.

2nd Chance After a minor surgery unexpectedly resulted in a near death experience, she was inspired to write her next album, 2 Chance. Unlike its debut, 2nd Chance was recorded entirely in the studio and also marked its debut for Elektra. Subsequent releases, The Heavens Are Telling and It's Not Over continued to perform well commercially and to keep Clark-Sheard on the charts. The 2010 studio album, All in One, was the first release of Karew Records itself and marked a bit of return, ranking third in the gospel ranking and breaking the Billboard Top 100 list. Five years later, in the summer of 2015, Clark-Sheard released the live album Destined to Win, which became his most successful album to date, even surpassing his debut.

Damita - Anticipation - 2012

She is hailed as having a strengthening voice, but soothing, and Damita would do nothing but sing with a positive message. Damita, who is originally from Detroit, grew up singing and playing music at home and at the church choir. She is the wife of Gospel star Deitrick Haddon, and from early on she traveled with the production of Gospel Theater Mama Do not. Later she joined the female group a cappella Adoration & Praise, in which the group recorded an album.

Damita credits her touring experience with the original diva, Aretha Franklin, as an endless inspirational motivation to make music. Four years after this initial meeting, Damita came along with her husband and pioneering R & B producer Arif Mardin to launch their self-titled debut in the fall of 2000.

Cynthia Jones - Journey Of Soul - 2011

Stellar Grammy nominee, writer Cynthia Jones is one of the greatest Gospel singers and performer of her generation. She is considered the Queen of the Neo-Soul Gospels. The North Carolina native premiered on stage with her 2000 release of "Almost Midnight." Since then, she has recorded four albums, received the Radio One Heritage Award and four North Carolina Prestige awards for Female Gospel / Jazz Vocalist.

Crystal Aikin - All I Need - 2015

Crystal Aikin grew up in Tacoma, WA, attending early choirs and singing groups at her local church. Eventually she found herself increasingly assuming singing and directing duties, even though she had worked long hours as an emergency room nurse at a Catholic hospital in Tacoma. It all changed, however, when she became a contestant in the first season of the BET gospel contest Sunday Best in 2007. Aikin was clearly a fan favorite and was the winner of the first season, turning the show into a recording contract and production. Their debut album, the self-titled Crystal Aikin, appeared in 2009's Zomba Gospel. Produced by PAJAM, Dre & Vidal, and Asaph A. Ward, the album featured a fairly predictable contemporary gospel with jazz, rock and urban elements enough to appeal to the public. It also allowed Aikin to leave her job as a nurse to focus on singing
